A wonderful amenity of Friendship Manor is the HUD approved Mandatory Meal Program. This meal program was set up to ensure one third of daily nutritional needs in a social environment, thereby avoiding social isolation.  Each resident pays a monthly fee which entitles them to one meal per day in the Garden Room. Residents may purchase additional meals if they choose.

The Garden Room also hosts many theme days, BBQ’s, buffets, high tea’s, continental breakfasts and many other events.   

The Garden Room is opened from 12:00-4:00pm Monday through Friday and 12:00-3:00pm on Saturdays &  Sundays. Residents may patronize the Garden Room any time during the hours in which it is open.  The Garden Room also serves a delicious breakfast on Saturdays & Sundays from 8:00am-9:30am. Residents are welcome to invite family and friends to enjoy a meal with them in the Garden Room.

Participation in the program is mandatory and a condition of occupancy. Residents are required to purchase one meal per day.
